UBUD TRAVEL GUIDE
Ubud is the real heart of Bali.
It is located between rice paddies and steep ravines. The area which surround the town is made up of small farms, rice paddies, forests and tourist accommodations; basically a paradise for all photographers.
Start to visit Ubud from the morning because it will occur the entire day, or even two, to visit the most famous attraction.
I found Ubud Market to be very typical and interesting. Here you could buy souvenirs, taste the best coffee in the world and have a direct meeting with that cute animal who produces it, the Kopi Luwak
In just about 5 minutes from the market you will find beautiful temples, bars and restaurants to enjoy some food surrounded by the local culture and tradition.
In the afternoon I suggest you to visit the Sacred Monkey Forest which is very close to the centre. What I’ve appreciated the most was the fact that monkeys were free and not closed in “jail”. The entrance is not free but the price is very cheap and you will have the possibility to take selfies with these cute monkeys.
To perfectly end your day in Ubud I recommend you to visit the Tegenungann Waterfall, a stunning place where nature and fun became one single thing.
If you’d like to see more about this wonderful place, I give you here below a direct link to the video I realized which focuses on the main Bali’s attraction and points of interest.
