Mountain lovers this article has been thought for you.
I’m going to talk to you about Carezza Lake (Karersee), a little lake situated at 1520 m altitude just 20 kilometers southeast of Bozen, South Tyrol (Italy)
Thanks to its wonderful colors every year a lot of tourists come to visit this magical place.
Carezza lake has no visible tributary because it is powered by underground springs.
All around the lake there is a perfectly viable path which offers amazing views of the surroundings.
I suggest you to go there during the sunset or in the early morning to see the splendid Latemar mountain range and the near forest reflected in the lake’s crystalline water.
Unfortunately in October 2018, an huge storm named Vaya destroyed a large part of the forest with its strong wind guts, BUT the lake is still beautiful and deserve to be visited.
I hope you like it and thanks for visiting !✦
